Trusting God's Provision

"Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." - Matthew 6:31-33

Devotional:

God is our loving Heavenly Father who knows our every need. He cares for us deeply, and He promises to provide for us. Yet, it is easy to become anxious about the basic necessities of life—food, drink, and clothing.

Jesus encourages us not to be consumed by worry or to seek after these things like those who do not know God. Instead, He calls us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. When we prioritize our relationship with Him and align our lives with His will, He promises to take care of our needs.

Today, release your anxieties and worries to God. Trust in His provision, knowing that He knows what you need. Seek His kingdom and righteousness above all else, and allow Him to add the things you need in His perfect timing. Rest in His faithfulness and let go of anxiety, knowing that He is a faithful provider.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I surrender my worries and anxieties to You. Thank You for being my provider and knowing my every need. Help me to seek Your kingdom and righteousness above all else. Increase my trust in Your provision and teach me to rely on Your faithfulness.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen !
