Restoring Broken Relationships
"Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive." - Colossians 3:13
Devotional:
Relationships can be challenging and sometimes become broken or strained. However, as followers of Christ, we are called to be agents of reconciliation and forgiveness. Just as the Lord has forgiven us, we are to extend forgiveness to others.
Forgiveness is a powerful act that brings healing and restoration. It requires humility, grace, and a willingness to let go of past hurts. When we choose to forgive, we open the door to reconciliation and the possibility of rebuilding broken relationships.
Today, examine your relationships and ask God to reveal any areas of brokenness or unforgiveness. Seek His guidance in extending forgiveness and making amends where necessary. Trust in His grace to heal and restore what has been broken. As you forgive others, may you experience the freedom and joy that comes from being reconciled with God and with one another.
Prayer:
Loving Father, I thank You for the forgiveness I have received through Jesus Christ. Help me to extend that same forgiveness to others. Show me any areas of brokenness or unforgiveness in my relationships, and give me the strength and grace to restore and reconcile. Fill me with Your love and compassion, that I may reflect Your character through forgiveness.
In Jesus' name, I pray.
Amen!
