Resting in God's Presence

"For God alone, my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken." - Psalm 62:1-2

Devotional:

In a world that is constantly moving and demanding, finding rest can be a challenge. However, true rest is found in God's presence. When we wait in silence before Him, trusting in His salvation and acknowledging Him as our rock and fortress, we find refuge and strength.

Resting in God's presence involves surrendering our worries, fears, and anxieties to Him. It is taking time to be still before Him, seeking His peace and comfort. In His presence, we discover renewed strength, perspective, and hope.

Today, set aside time to wait in silence before God. Find a quiet place, free from distractions, and allow His peace to wash over you. Trust in His salvation and acknowledge Him as your rock and fortress. As you rest in His presence, may your soul find deep peace and strength.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I come before You today, seeking rest in Your presence. Help me to wait in silence, trusting in Your salvation. You alone are my rock and fortress. Calm my worries and anxieties, and fill me with Your peace and strength.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen!
