Happy Mother's Day!

You are our heroes! We thank God for you and for the sacrifices you make in love for your families! Mothers, you know how important a good example is, especially in teaching your children about living Godly lives. Jesus is your example for Christian living and you are a primary example to your children of how to live out a life of love for God and others.

Many will attest that they learned from the examples of their mothers how to praise God in the ordinary and “extra” ordinary moments of life! Singing as you drive, praying aloud as you work, verbally giving thanks to God in your children’s presence are ways you offer your greatest sacrifice: “the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name” (Hebrews 13:15).

Children are equipped to be ready for the challenging times ahead as their moms embrace the mundane with grace, patience, and faithfulness! Mothers, your melodious praise to the Lord will flow from your heart to the hearts and minds of your children long after they are out of earshot.

So, this Mother’s Day, be encouraged! In the midst of a less than perfect household environment or with a heavy heart burdened by failed expectations, dreams disappointed or a broken heart, resolve to continue to offer your sacrifice of praise.

Thank you for teaching all of us by your sacrifice of praise to Him Who loves you most.

Have a wonderful Mother’s Day!
