Devotionals By: Faithwalker

A lot of us don't want to forgive, but we want others to understand us and forgive us. Christ said if we don't forgive, he won't forgive us. Is there anything worth not being forgiven for by God? You see forgiveness is not for the other person, it's for us. Once we forgive we unlock the heavens for God to hear our request, our worship, and the Lord will welcome us to the throne. If you don't forgive, you're just hurting yourself. Forgiving doesn't mean you have to hang with the person, it just means that your standing with God is clear. It means that the thing that you've carried against that person is gone. Your free!!!!

You might not feel like forgiving this person, ok, this is where you talk to yourself and say, I CHOOSE TO FORGIVE BECAUSE THE WORD OF GOD SAYS I MUST FORGIVE TO BE FORGIVEN! Then say I forgive and let the Holy Spirit do the rest. Remember we walk by FAITH, not by sight or feelings! Be free today, forgive everyone that has wronged you and see the windows of heaven open up on your behalf.

Blessings! Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
