Devotionals By: Faithwalker

Awww, I’m stepping on my own toes now, but I KNOW I’m stepping on yours also. We ALL get anxious, panicky, and step ahead of the plans God has for us at some time or another. Why? Because we see something that needs fixing right away and try to do something right away to fix it. Although we have given it to God, it has come to the point where it just looks like God is not doing anything, or He’s not doing it fast enough, so it’s time for us to handle it. I’ve learned that when we step in, we not only take what we gave to God off the altar, but we stress ourselves out and others that shouldn’t even be involved. We take the weight back onto ourselves and we also put it on those who we ask to help us.

Ladies, let’s keep what we know we can’t do anything about, on the altar. We can ask for prayer, but keep it in God's hands. That’s why we gave it to God in the first place. When we see we are getting anxious or starting to let a petition we gave to the Lord back into OUR “work out” thoughts, STOP!!! Put it right back on the altar and tell the Lord, I gave that to you and I’m thanking you for working it out in the correct timing because you are God and I’m not. That’s why I need and depend on you. Just doing that, every day, as many times a day that we need to, will bring peace of mind, peace in your spirit and emotions. It will make you feel like you took a chill pill because you will have the peace of God which surpasses all understanding.

Amen. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾♥️♥️ “Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.” Micah‬ ‭7:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬
