Those thorns meant something. And so did each stripe/hit/that tore his skin/flesh off of his bones. They tortured my Savior, and he was sinless. He spiritually took on all of every sin that was down here on earth and every sin that will ever be thought of, because of His love for us. Healing, of every disease, every sin, deliverance of every trial and tribulation, was done on that cross and through the purity of Jesus’ blood, we are washed clean by believing and receiving HIM as Savior and Lord of our lives. So when life is not giving you roses, remember who borne the thorns.
Amen. 🙌🏾🙏🏾♥️♥️♥️ “Then Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe.” John 19:5 NLT “They wove thorn branches into a crown and put it on his head, and they placed a reed stick in his right hand as a scepter. Then they knelt before him in mockery and taunted, “Hail! King of the Jews!”” Matthew 27:29 NLT “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24 “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:3-5 KJV
