Wisdom always wins and in the end, there is understanding. Wisdom and truth breaks all confusion. Remember that. When the motives of the heart of a Godly man is pure, God will send assistance, confirmation, and help to allow you to know that wisdom was speaking. Thank God for Jesus and His wisdom.
