To come to Jesus with an open heart and to humble yourself for some church people is a hard thing to do. Some church people think that you’re sinning or saved people don’t worry. Or they think you’re not all the way saved if you are overly concerned about things. But we are human, and sometimes we worry, or our concerns get greater than we can handle. That’s why Jesus said in so many ways, don’t worry, don’t be anxious, don’t be discouraged, because even Jesus in the flesh was so concerned the day before He was taken away to hang on the cross. He was so concerned he prayed to the Father to let this cup pass, but nevertheless let the Fathers will be done. That’s a lot of concern or worry to be praying so hard that you sweat blood.
Jesus knows how our flesh works against the spirit. So He can relate to us being human. Cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you. Give Him your worries, and all of your concerns. He will give you peace, and confidence that He is with you and will help you with all of your troubles. He is faithful and will do it. Selah…. “And he (Jesus) was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.” Luke 22:41-42, 44 KJV “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6 NLT “Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7 NLT
